Grants

Between 2014 and 2016, I served as the Grants Coordinator II for the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) and the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. During my tenure there, I established two academic grants programs that assisted faculty with identifying grant funding opportunities, grant-writing, and pre- and post-award management of all sponsored projects and external grants, which included communication with grant agencies and foundations, budgeting, marketing and advertising, and fiscal management and advice. While at UGA, I was responsible for grant-writing and management for over 120 outgoing proposals of various sizes and scope, 30+ of which were awarded for a total of over $5 million in external grant funds between 2014-2016.
