In addition to my interests in teaching and research, I enjoy spending time with my wife (Ginny), family, and friends. I am also an avid traveler, having traveled to all 50 states and over 40 countries, a huge fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, and Atlanta Falcons, a fan of strategy boardgames such as Ticket to Ride, Diplomacy, Axis and Allies, Carcassonne, and Pandemic (to name a few), an avid movie buff (I love comedies and dramas the most), and I enjoy playing with my dog (Arya) and two cats (Merlin and Arthur). I also enjoy taking photographs–most photos on this website were taken by me.
